ESDAxWY Automotive Unidirectional ESD Protection

STMicroelectronics ESDAxWY Automotive Dual-Line Unidirectional ESD Protection are transient voltage suppressors (TVS) designed to protect sensitive electronics in harsh environments. These TVS diodes protect from damage or latch-up due to electrical overstress (EOS), lightning surges, and ESD without aging effects or performance drifts. With these protection features, the STMicroelectronics ESDAxWY devices can advantageously replace MOV (metal oxide varistors), MLV (multilayer varistors), or Zener diodes, which are optimized for voltage regulation. ESDAxWY is an ideal choice for high-reliability and quality systems. These components are available in a small SOT323-3L (Jedec SC-70) 2.1mm x 2.0mm package, suitable for space-constrained applications.
