On-Metal Wi-Fi Antenna

Molex On-Metal Wi-Fi Antenna is a metal surface-mount antenna that allows mounting directly on the metal surface without compromising RF performance. This off-the-shelf 2.4GHz / 5GHz external antenna is designed for the Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Molex On-Metal Wi-Fi Antenna features 2.0W RF power, 50Ω impedance, and 2.0dBi / 5.5dBi peak gain.

Antenna Solutions

Molex Antenna Solutions include NFC, ISM, LTE Cellular, GNSS/GPS, Multi-Protocol, and Wi-Fi®, BLUETOOTH®, and Zigbee antennas. Antennas transmit radio-frequency signals into free space and are sensitive to several elements of the surrounding environment, which affects transmission distance. Therefore, the user must consider various factors when selecting a suitable antenna. Molex Antennas offer high performance and easy integration for demanding wireless applications spanning the industrial, consumer, medical, and automotive markets.

2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi®/BLUETOOTH® External Antennas

Molex 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi®/BLUETOOTH® External Antennas offer high RF performance and reliability for wireless and networking applications. These off-the-shelf antennas feature single- or dual-band connectors with I-PEX, SMA-J, and RP-SMA-J mounting options in straight or hinged modes. The components support Wi-Fi, 2.4GHz, 5.8GHz, and Bluetooth technologies and mate with SMA jack or I-PEX MHF I receptacles. Molex 2.4GHz/5GHz External Antennas offer design flexibility, making them ideal for various applications, including security/surveillance, home automation, home streaming, entertainment, smart appliances, energy/utilities, wireless solutions, infrastructure, and networking.
