GDT21 2-Electrode GDT Surge Arrestors

Bourns GDT21 2-Electrode Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) Surge Arrestors deliver maximum impulse voltage limiting specifications in a compact surface-mount package. These surge protection devices offer an improved level of protection with tighter voltage limiting provided during fast-rising events. This reduces stress on downstream components. Bourns GDT21 surge arrestors can safely divert 500A pulses in a compact EIA 1206 package without damage. These devices feature low capacitance, low insertion loss, high surge current rating, and fast response time. Applications include antennas, HVAC controls, industrial communications, switching power supplies, and set-top boxes.
