STRADA Whisper Direct Plug Orthogonal Connectors

TE Connectivity's (TE) STRADA Whisper Direct Plug Orthogonal (DPO) Connectors enable the elimination of midplane connectivity to reduce costs and improve airflow in switches, servers, base stations, and other types of communications equipment. TE's STRADA Whisper family transfers data at speeds of 25Gbps and offers scalability up to 56Gbps (PAM4 and NRZ). These devices allow engineers to efficiently upgrade systems without expensive backplane or midplane redesigns. STRADA Whisper DPO Connectors are developed for high-performing, high-bandwidth systems and offer easy alignment and installation that maintains electrical performance even when the connector is not fully mated.
