Automotive PRF PTC Thermistors

Murata Electronics Automotive PRF PTC Thermistors are designed to sense overheating in FETs, power ICs, and other heat-generating areas. Sharp changes in resistance allow these thermistors to accurately detect overheating in multiple areas by using a simple circuit that connects PTC thermistors in the PRF series. Other features include a faster response time, a wide sensing temperature, high reliability, and a compact design that saves board space. Suitable applications for PRF PTC thermistors from Murata include automotive, LED bulbs, mobile phones, power supplies, and motor controllers.
