Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations. 

SC1210-01ETG Bidirectional TVS Diode

Littelfuse SC1210-01ETG Bidirectional TVS Diode offers a 5.5V breakdown voltage, 0.1µA maximum reverse leakage current, and 26pF capacitance. This TVS diode is fabricated in proprietary silicon avalanche technology and provides a high ESD protection level for electronic equipment. The SC1210-01ETG diode can safely absorb repetitive ESD strikes of ±30kV without any performance degradation and can safely dissipate a 15A 8/20µs surge event as defined in IEC 61000-4-5 2nd edition. Littelfuse SC1210-01ETG Bidirectional TVS Diode is ideal for test equipment, computer peripherals, and medical equipment.
