T18U Ultrasonic Sensors

Banner Engineering U-GAGE® T18U Ultrasonic Sensors offer opposed-mode sensing for demanding environments. The housings are tough, made from NEMA 6P-rated polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). The acoustic faces of the emitter and receiver are also epoxy-reinforced for extreme durability and moisture resistance. The T18U sensors use a built-in microprocessor to analyze the received ultrasonic signal and control an indicator LED on the receiver's back. The receiver is precisely tuned to the ultrasonic emitter, making this sensor pair highly immune to sonic and electrical ambient noise. Banner Engineering T18U Ultrasonic Sensors provide highly reliable sensing of clear objects and materials. The series offers a normal-resolution mode with a sensing range of 600mm, maximizing sensing energy, and a high-resolution mode with a range of up to 300mm, maximizing sensing response.
