Microchip Technology EVB-PCI11010C Evaluation Board
Microchip Technology EVB-PCI11010C Evaluation Board is a demonstration platform for the PCI11010C single-chip PCIe switch. The board incorporates PCIe connectivity with an RGMII/SGMII Ethernet MAC, IEEE 1588v2 support, and programmable I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO. A downstream PCIe port and SFP cage support evaluation of PCIe switching and copper, optical, or direct-attach Ethernet connections.
The Microchip EVB-PCI11010C Evaluation Board supports PCIe Precision Time Measurement for maintaining timing coherence across the switching function. An onboard I2C serial EEPROM provides board configuration and function customization, while an RS-232 interface supports serial connectivity. The six-layer platform helps developers understand the PCI11010C and accelerate its integration into embedded systems.
Driver support covers Linux®, Microsoft® Windows®, and Android®, with additional options for QNX, VxWorks, and FreeBSD. MPLAB® Connect Configurator offers advanced configuration and diagnostics, including PCIe virtual eye-diagram visualization.
