BeagleBoard BeagleConnect™ Freedom
BeagleBoard BeagleConnect™ Freedom is based on a TI CC1352P7 Arm® Cortex®-M4 microcontroller with wireless capabilities. The BeagleBoard BeagleConnect has an innovative design and offers a comprehensive suite of functions. These functions include a BeagleConnect gateway device for Sub-GHz 802.15.4 long-range wireless and a BeagleConnect node device for BLUETOOTH® Low-Energy. The BeagleConnect Freedom also has a convenient USB-based serial console and firmware update capabilities.
Expand the reach of the BeaglePlay up to 1km. With 2x mikroBUS connections, there are over 1,000 different add-on options. On-board sensors include temperature, humidity, and light level. A battery charger is available to assist with battery-backed-up designs.
Based on a TI SimpleLink CC1352 wireless MCU running Zephyr and Micropython, wireless networks are made easy using the 2.4GHz and sub-1GHz IEEE 802.15.4. Numerous additional wireless networking stacks are available from TI, including Wi-SUN and Amazon Sidewalk, to take IoT designs to go.
