These fuses and varistors are designed for circuit protection applications. The compact EAC14 fuses provide a higher power density and reliability than standard fuses, as well as bolt-down and PCB terminal options for easy integration. The S505H ceramic tube time-delay fuses with electroplated end caps offer higher maximum voltage ratings and breaking capacities than standard IEC 60127-2 fuses. The MLVHV multilayer varistors are bidirectional and feature a compact size with a 200VDC to 385VDC voltage range and <1ns response time.
Sensors
Sensors are integral components of HVAC applications, and Eaton ECST current sense transformers provide low DC resistance and a wide selection of turn ratios. These SMT package transformers offer a sensed current that is primary rated for 15A. The ECST series features a 50KHz to 1MHz frequency range.
Magnetics
The magnetics lineup from Eaton includes through-hole common mode chokes and non-isolated DC-DC converters. The ECMS-R chokes feature a high-frequency filter with a square-type closed magnetic core, 15A maximum DC current, and 5mΩ to 75mΩ maximum DC resistance. The EPM78V DC-DC converters come in a three-pin SIP package compatible with LM78 linear regulators. The EPM78V series offers a 4.75VDC to 32VDC input voltage range and output voltages from 1.8V to 15V at 1A output current.
Supercapacitors
Eaton supercapacitors feature the KR and KW series coin cell devices. The KR ultra-high capacitance devices utilize advanced technology and electric double-layer capacitor (EDLC) construction combined with high-performance materials. The KW series offers a small, low-profile package size with low equivalent series resistance (ESR). The KW supercapacitors are ideal for high-reliability industrial applications by providing a full -40°C to +85°C industrial temperature range and a demonstrated 20-year operating life.
Film Capacitors
The metallized polypropylene film capacitors encompass the EFX1S, EFPLS, EFPLA, and EFACA series. The EFX1S capacitors offer high capacitance stability, withstand overvoltage stress, and self-healing properties in an operating temperature range of -40°C to +110°C. Eaton EFPLS, EFPLA, and EFACA capacitors feature self-healing properties, high capacitance density, and high ripple current with low loss. The EFPLS series offers high reliability, while the EFACA and EFPLA capacitors are AEC-Q200 qualified and meet THB Grade IIIB standards.
