Infineon Technologies CY3642 Programming Kit

Infineon Technologies CY3642 Programming Kit enables quick and easy programming of the CY29421 and CY29422 High-Performance Oscillators. The CY29421 and CY29422 programmable PLL-based crystal oscillator solutions offer flexible output frequency options. These devices are field or factory-programmable for any output frequency between 15MHz and 2.1GHz. Frequency options can be configured with the I²C interface. The CY29421 and CY29422 provide excellent jitter performance across the entire output frequency range (<150fs), working reliably at supply voltages from 1.8V to 3.3V for ambient temperatures from -40°C to +105°C. These devices also support VCXO functionality.

The Infineon Technologies CY3642 Programming Kit includes a CY3642 Programming Board, USB cable, and a CY29422 in a 5.0mm x 3.2mm LCC package. The Programming Board features an 8-pin LCC socket for the target device. A USB port allows an easy connection to a PC running the Clock Programmer software. The Programming Board also includes two SMA connectors which can be used to measure the clock parameters of the device.
