Littelfuse Qxx10 Standard/Alternistor 10A Triacs
Littelfuse Qxx10 Standard and Alternistor (High Commutation) 10A Triacs are bi-directional solid-state switches designed for AC switching and phase control applications. The Qxx10 components are UL recognized to UL 1557 as Electrically Isolated Semiconductor Devices. Isolated packages offer an internal construction with the case or mounting tab electrically isolated from the semiconductor chip. The Qxx10 standard type devices normally operate in Quadrants I and III triggered from the AC line. The alternistor versions are also used in applications requiring high commutation performance such as controlling inductive loads.Features
- Glass-passivated junctions
- Voltage capability up to 1000V
- Surge capability up to 120A
- 2500Vrms minimum isolation between mounting tab and active terminals
- Solid-state switching eliminates arcing or contact bounce that creates voltage transients
- No contacts to wear out from switching event reactions
- Restricted (or limited) RFI generation, depending on the activation point sine wave
- UL recognized to UL 1557 as an Electrically Isolated Semiconductor Device
- Package styles available
- TO-200AB (R-package) - non-isolated mounting tab common with center pin
