Luxonis Robotic Perception Cameras Series 2
Luxonis Robotic Perception Cameras Series 2 is the series 2 of the OAK-D. The main difference is that OAK-D S2 has a smaller enclosure and is lighter. OAK-D S2 also doesn’t have a barrel jack for supplying power, it only has a USB-C™ connector for both power and communication. Two versions are available, auto focus and fixed focus.
Auto-Focus can focus on objects dynamically, which is mainly useful for objects within 50cm of the device.
Fixed-Focus is recommended for heavy-vibration applications (e.g., drones, lawnmowers, bikes w/out suspension, etc.
