Molex Mini-Fit Jr. Connectors are ideal for higher-current / higher-density applications that require design flexibility for wire-to-wire and wire-to-board configurations. Molex Mini-Fit Jr. connectors are made for power applications up to 9.0A per circuit. The connectors feature fully isolated terminals, positive housing locks, low-engagement forces, and polarized housings. They are UL recognized, CSA approved, and TUV licensed. All components are lead free and RoHS compliant. Molex Mini-Fit Jr. Connectors are available in a single row or dual row, 2 to 24 circuit options, and multiple plating and material selections.

Blind Mate Interface (BMI)
Mini-Fit BMI connectors allow misalignment and provide "float" of up to 2.54mm between mating surfaces for easy blind-mate connections. In addition, the connectors utilize both the Mini-Fit Jr. and high current Mini-Fit Plus female and male crimp terminals to support up to 9.0A or 13.0A. Many options are offered including: through-hole, press-fit or SMC headers; tin or gold terminals; and multiple resin options to support the changing needs of manufacturing.
Hand Crimp Tool for Mini-Fit Jr. Terminals
Molex Hand Crimp Tool for Mini-Fit Jr Terminals is a full cycle ratcheting hand tool that ensures complete crimps. This crimp tool supports both right-handed and left-handed applications through ergonomic soft grip handles for comfortable crimping. The Dies and Locator assemblies of this crimp tool can be used with legacy Battery-powered Tool Order No. 63816-0200 (110V) or 63816-0250 (220V), and 63816-0800 crimp-head. The hand crimp tool is made of best quality materials and all vital components are long-life tested. This RoHS compliant crimp tool is also an IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 2 qualified.
Overmolded Cable Assemblies
Mini-Fit® Overmolded Cable Assemblies are ideal for rugged signal connections. The assemblies are available with a strain relief to reduce mechanical stress on wires and terminals. They are available in multiple circuit sizes and cable lengths and feature a terminal polarization tab. Mini-Fit overmolded cable assemblies can be used in consumer and data/computing applications.

Mini-Fit Jr. Backshells
Molex Mini-Fit Jr. Backshells are hermaphroditic strain relievers made in 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 circuits. These backshells increase the strain relief produced in the wire during assembly and reduce the power loss in the Mini-Fit connector system. The Mini-Fit Jr. connectors accommodate the dual row without panel mount versions of Mini-Fit plug and receptacle housings. These backshells are nylon made and accept the wide ranges of 18, 20, and, 22 American Wire Gauge (AWG) of UL-1015 and UL-1569 styles.
