NXP Semiconductor GreenChip USB Type-C™ Solutions combine data exchange with high power charging capabilities in a USB connection. The Type-C USB connector supports a new level of charging capability, referred to as USB Power Delivery or USB PD. NXP offers a complete system solution to enable Smart Power designing with USB Type-C. This feature includes a USB Power Delivery PHY, Power Delivery controllers, CC-Logic, signal switches, load switches, USB re-drivers, ESD protection devices, and authentication devices.
