NXP Semiconductors PCA9958HN-ARD Development Board provides an easy-to-use platform for evaluating the PCA9958HN 24-channel SPI serial bus 32mA, 5.5V constant current LED drivers. The board features LEDs for color mixing, blinking, and dimming demonstrations. The NXP PCA9958HN-ARD utilizes the LPC55S69-EVK MCU board to provide an easy-to-use evaluation platform. A Windows-based graphical interface (GUI) allows the user to control four RGB LEDs and 12 discrete white LEDs and explore the different functions of the driver easily. The board contains jumpers and connectors that allow in-series connections with other SPI-bus demo boards or external LEds to create an evaluation system. The IC communicates to the host via the industry-standard SPI-bus port, and the evaluation software runs on Microsoft Windows 7, 8, and 10 PC platforms.Features
