NXP Semiconductors S32Z2 Real-time Processors
NXP Semiconductors S32Z2 Real-time Processors are high-performance processors that enable software-defined vehicles, minimize software integration complexity, and improve security. These processors combine real-time and DSP/ML processing with hardware virtualization and scalable non-volatile memory. The S32Z2 processors are software-compatible with the S32E2 processors that support Electric Vehicle (xEV) control applications. These processors enable GreenVIP vehicle integration platform software and the GreenBox 3 development platform. The S32Z2 processors are AEC-Q100 grade 1 qualified. The S32Z2 processors are certified to ISO.SAE 21434 for cybersecurity and ISO 26262 for ASIL D functional safety. These processors support SD card/SDIO and NAND flash memory. The S32Z2 processors include two enhanced modular I/O subsystems (eMIOS), a complex timer unit (CTU), and up to 64MB integrated flash memory. These processors are suitable for safety processing and domain and zonal control. Typical applications include battery management systems (BMS) and motorcycle engine control units (ECU).
