onsemi HCPL2x High-Speed 10MBit/s Logic Gate Optocouplers
onsemi HCPL2x High-Speed 10MBit/s Logic Gate Optocouplers are designed for logic gate applications requiring electrical isolation and fast data transmission. These onsemi octocouplers consist of an 850nm AlGaAs LED, optically coupled to a very high-speed integrated photo-detector logic gate with a strobable output. This output features an open collector, thereby permitting wired OR outputs. The switching parameters are guaranteed over a -40°C to +85°C temperature range. A maximum input signal of 5mA provides a minimum output sink current of 13mA (fan out of eight).These HCPL2x optocouplers support data rates up to 10Mbit/s, making them ideal for high-speed digital communication across isolated domains. The devices feature a high common-mode transient immunity (CMR), ensuring reliable performance in noisy industrial environments. An internal noise shield provides superior common-mode rejection of typically 10kV/s. Compact PDIP-8 packaging and low power consumption enhance suitability for space-constrained and energy-efficient designs.
