The dual-bank flash facilitates FOTA (Firmware update Over the Air) enablement, while a built-in segment LCD and capacitive touch function streamline system design, reduce BOM cost, and lower footprint size.
The superior low-power capability of the Renesas RL78/L23 MCUs also fits metering applications, which need very low power consumption to maintain long battery life.
