Semtech RClamp3371ZC Femto Farad RailClamp®
Semtech RClamp3371ZC Femto Farad RailClamp® is an ultra-low capacitance FemtoClamp™ ESD protection device. Semtech RClamp3371ZC was specifically designed to protect high-speed differential lines and offers characteristics for board level protection including fast response time, low operating and clamping voltage, with no device degradation. The RClamp3371ZC Femto Farad RailClamp gives designers the flexibility to protect single lines in applications where arrays are not practical, due to its small size.The RClamp3371ZC features excellent ESD protection characteristics highlighted by low peak ESD clamping voltage and high ESD withstand voltage (±10kV contact per IEC 61000-4-2). The RClamp3371ZC can be used on Thunderbolt and USB 3.1 high-speed lines with a featured maximum capacitance of 0.25pF. Each device will protect one high-speed data line, operating up to 3.3V. The devices can be used for EOS protection, due to their high peak pulse current capability (9A, tp = 8/20µs).
The RClamp3371ZC is available in a 2-pin SLP0603P2X3J package measuring 0.60mm x 0.30mm with a nominal height of only 0.25mm. The leads are finished with NiAu.
