TE Connectivity / SMI SM5420E Absolute Pressure Sensors
TE Connectivity / SMI SM5420E Absolute Pressure Sensors are small SO-8 packaged sensors incorporating SM5180E MEMS piezoresistive pressure sensing die. These pressure sensors provide high stability for the package with integrated field shields. The SM5420E pressure sensors are available in ported and non-ported options. The standard configuration of SM5420E sensors offers a protective gel over the die. These sensors are intended for high-volume applications such as consumer and automotive products. The SM5420E sensors are available in 30, 60, and 100PSI ranges. These pressure sensors operate within a -40°C to +125°C wide temperature range. Applications include engine control, barometric sensing, pressure switches, and sports equipment.
