SIMPLE SWITCHER® Nano Modules are ideal for space-constrained applications. Use Nano modules to reduce board area from the intermediate voltage rail to the point-of-load in applications with space and height limitations while providing enhanced system performance.
LMZ1 SIMPLE SWITCHER leaded power modules are ideal for applications requiring a standard feature set. All power modules in the LMZ1 series have a precision enable pin and soft-start pin. LMZ1420x Power Modules are easy-to-use, step-down DC-DC solutions with exceptional power conversion efficiency, line and load regulation, and output accuracy.
LMZ2 SIMPLE SWITCHER power modules are available in output currents up to 10A with additional features for powering high-current intermediate rails, FPGAs, and noise-sensitive applications. These devices also feature a frequency synchronization pin that controls the switching frequency of the internal circuitry and a current-sharing pin for paralleling multiple power modules together to achieve up to 60A of output current.
LMZ3 SIMPLE SWITCHER power modules integrate a DC/DC converter, inductor, and passives into a small, thin QFN package. As few as three external components are required for high-performance and high-density point-of-load design - making the layout extremely simple.
Specialized Power Modules
High Output Voltage Power Modules:
The LMZ1420xH SIMPLE SWITCHER power modules have an output voltage range from 5V to 30V, while the LMZ1360xH and LMZ2360xH modules have an output voltage range from 3V to 16V. These power modules are ideal for intermediate rail conversions, powering fans, or other non-traditional points-of-load types and sensing applications requiring voltages below -6V.
Extended Temperature (EXT) Power Modules:
SIMPLE SWITCHER EXT power modules provide excellent performance in extreme conditions, with extended ambient temperatures guaranteed down to -55ºC and shock and vibration compliant to meet military MIL-STD-883 standards.
