Power Integrations RDK-723 Reference Design Kit

Power Integrations RDK-723 Reference Design Kit demonstrates a 9.6W non-isolated buck converter circuit based on the LNK3209D LinkSwitch™-TN2 Off-Line Switcher. The LinkSwitch-TN2 devices are non-isolated off-line power supplies that provide dramatically improved performance compared to traditional linear or cap-dropper solutions. The devices support buck, buck-boost, and flyback converter topologies. Each device incorporates a 725V power MOSFET, oscillator, On/Off control for highest efficiency at light load, and a high-voltage switched current source for self-biasing.

The Power Integrations RDK-723 Reference Design Kit provides a non-isolated nominal output voltage of 12V, 800mA from a wide input voltage range of 85VAC to 265VAC. This highly integrated solution is optimized for a low component count, making it ideal for small appliances.
