Toshiba TC78B009FTG Motor Control IC

Toshiba TC78B009FTG Motor Control IC features a sensorless Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) pre-driver for a 3-phase brushless motor. The speed of the TC78B009FTG motor can be controlled by selecting the PWM duty cycle, analog voltage, and I2C. This IC does not need an external MCU for closed-loop speed control as the built-in Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) controls the speed. The Toshiba TC78B009FTG brushless motor operates from a 5.5V to 27V voltage range and a -40°C to 105°C temperature range. This TC78B009FTG IC uses six external MOSFETs inverter to drive a sensorless motor with a wide output range. Typical applications include cooling fans for servers, portable vacuum motors, pumps, and blowers.
